About Me

I know what it feels like when life doesn’t look the way you thought it would.

You may be seeking therapy because of infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum changes, or a major life transition has disrupted your sense of stability or identity.

Many women I work with are highly successful while internally experiencing grief, emotional overwhelm, or loneliness. These feelings are common — and you don’t have to navigate them alone.

Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, process your experience, and reconnect with yourself.

I’m Chana Kaufman, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Nurse providing telehealth therapy to women in New York State. My healthcare background allows me to understand both the emotional and physical impact of these experiences.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in respect. Therapy is not about fixing you — it’s about helping you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself.

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself or hold it together.

As a therapist, my work is:

I specialize in working with “women navigating reproductive challenges, postpartum transitions, relationship disconnection, and major life shifts”. Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply caring — and still find themselves overwhelmed or feeling alone.
